The College Counseling Department at St. Teresa's provides a comprehensive and individualized college counseling program to assist families in the college search, application, and matriculation experience. St. Teresa's maintains relationships with college and university admission offices throughout the country and around the globe, with more than 100 college and university admission representatives visiting STA each year to meet with students. Our counselors regularly visit college campuses to learn more about offerings and meet with STA graduates. STA continually boasts a 100% acceptance rate to college and consistent recognition in the National Merit program.
St. Teresa's is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC, nacacnet.org) and fully endorse NACAC's Code of Ethics and Professional Practices. Our counselors annually attend conferences, present, and hold leadership positions at the state and national level.
STA students and parents utilize Naviance, an online college planning tool specific to the Academy. Naviance allows students and parents to research colleges, search deadlines and requirements, analyze probability for admission, complete surveys, and much more. Students register with Naviance in their sophomore year. STA has also launched Scoir with juniors and seniors as an additional college search platform software that also includes career aptitude assessments.
